Installing Backtrack repositories and tools to another distro is Not impossible. In the opposite it is quite easy. To begin with check this.
http://sun.backtrack-linux.org/README.txt
First add the archive pgp key and then add the repositories. Reload and….. voilĂ !!! All the toys in your hands….. E.G. I searched the internet a little and found “tutorials” about installing all the tools and menus etc. DONT DO THAT. Installing everything that the backtrack repos contains is by 99.9% sure that it will crash your system because it will install EVERYTHING. Unnecessary drivers, conflicting drivers etc etc things that are configured by the developers and things that even backtrack installer doesn’t installs them all. It chooses what to install, what you need. I experimented with it and the result was that it installed all the graphic card drivers, universal nvidia ati etc…. Goodbye GNOME.
My point is that using backtrack repos is an easy way of installing tools that you want and not copying backtrack..
